The nail polish, an electric blue that matches The Lost Saint’s cover, is actually pretty awesome. The color is vivid and application is smooth; not at all streaky. I was shocked at how well it applied! I wish more publishers would do things like this—I could get used to matching my nails to my read.

In honor of the grand opening of Twin Pigeon, we will be giving away a hardback copy of Deborah Noyes’s just-realeased anthology Sideshow: Ten Original Tales of Freaks, Illusionists, and Other Matters Odd and Magical.

This freaktastic collection contains stories by Annette Curtis Klause, Cunthia Leitich Smith, Vivian Vande Velde, and other fabulous, double-named writers. It features seven prose short stories as well as three graphic (as in “graphic novel,” not “this severed head sure is graphic“) tales.
